Since her creation over three decades ago, she has only grown in popularity and is one of the most recognized female DC characters. Starfire, also known as Kory Anders, is a lot more than just a pretty face with flaming hair. Starfire is a team player and has joined up with quite a few different groups. She is also known for being quite the romantic and has a few rather famous love interests. Komand'r also known as Blackfire , her older sister, developed a bitter rivalry with her after suffering a disease in infancy that robbed her of the ability to harness solar energy to allow her to fly, and by extension, her right to the throne. This rivalry continued and intensified when the siblings were sent for warrior training with the Warlords of Okaara.

Fans of the show from back in the day will recall the cute infatuation that blossomed between the two characters and developed into a full-on romance by the series' end.
